Ben Roethlisberger was back in the game this week and fans were very optimistic, however the Steelers still couldn’t pull out a win against the Chargers. According to their records, the Steelers actually had more wins than the them. But San Diego played a very good game yesterday. The final score was 34-24.

During the fourth quarter, Pittsburgh started catching up, but it was not enough for the win. The Steelers offense did very little during the first half of the game but they did score 2 touchdowns during the last 10 minutes. Ben Roethlisberger threw two touchdown passes during the fourth, and three total during the game. That seems pretty good for someone who has been out of the game for a month due to injury. But the Steelers needed more than that yesterday. Hopefully the team will continue to improve now that Big Ben is in shape and back in the game.

The Steelers still have a chance to claim the last playoff spot, but they will have step up their game  in order to secure it.

The Pittsburgh Steelers will play again on Sunday, December 16th against the Dallas Cowboys. Both teams currently have a 7-6 record. This game will be broadcast on CBS at 4:25 PM.
